Apartments and walk-ups
For plex apartments, send the floor count, stair turns, landings and large-furniture dimensions. A narrow exterior staircase in Plateau, Mile End, Rosemont or Verdun needs review before pickup. Confirm permitted entrances and street loading rather than assuming the rear stair or curb can be used.
Condos and family homes
For Downtown, Griffintown or Old Montreal condos, provide the elevator/dock booking and management requirements. For NDG, Westmount, Outremont or West Island houses, include basement contents, garage items, driveway clearance and fragile finishes. Laval and South Shore moves need the same address-level information at both ends.
Choose the support you need
Request furniture handling and transport, then specify packing, unpacking, disassembly or storage separately. Confirm what the crew will do and what you will complete beforehand. Heavy or specialty pieces need an assessment; do not assume all equipment or specialist work is included.
